Your safety and the safety of the team at is. Salon is important to us!  As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic we have made several modifications to our service and experience offerings you have come to expect at is..

As required by Vancouver Coastal HealthWorkSafeBC and the Provincial Health Officer we are required to comply with several guidelines and social distancing requirements.  You'll notice that we have made several modifications to our service offerings such as suspending our refreshment service, requiring all guests to wear a mask and removing magazines.

We require all our guests to please complete the online COVID-19 Health Declaration prior to their service.

  • Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment.
    Due to social distancing, the waiting areas are no longer available.
  • Gowns are temporary discouraged.
    A freshly laundered cape will be provided for each guest. Please wear clothing suitable for the risk (such as: moisture, colour, hair etc.) of the service.  (is. Salon will not be held responsible for damage to personal items.)
  • Attend appointments alone.
    As we are operating with capacity restrictions and social distancing restrictions - friends, family, children and/or pets will be asked to stay at home.
  • You will be screened for any COVID-19 Symptoms.
    We ask all guests to complete the online Health Declaration.
  • Regardless of vaccination status, you will be required to wear a mask in the salon at all times.
    You may bring a personal face covering from home or purchase a mask on arrival.  Guests not wearing a mask will not be permitted into the salon.  We recommend bringing a few masks as they may get wet or colour on them.
  • Please disinfect your hands using hand sanitizer provided.
    Please sanitize your hands upon entry; before and after using the washroom and upon exit.
  • Our refreshment service as well as food and beverages are not permitted in the salon.
    As face coverings need to be worn at all times - unfortunately, eating and drinking is not permitted in the salon.
  • The station will be disinfected for each guest.
    Your stylist will disinfect all tools and sanitize the station for each guest.
  • Your service provider and all of the is. Salon team complete a daily health check.
    Your service provider will have their temperature taken and complete a health screening prior to the start of their shift.

While many of these temporary changes are significant, the entire team at is. Salon remain committed to your satisfaction and want to ensure that you receive the unparalleled level of service we are known for.

Should you answer "YES" to any of the questions, is. Salon will unfortunately not be able to honour your appointment and your appointment will be cancelled. 

I am aware of the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with is.
